Pure Grain
A fine blend of hard driving country soul, and gear jammin’ southern rock, Pure Grain’s homegrown sound hints at a cross of Marshall Tucker, The Allman Brothers, and a little James Brown. The bands’ crossover appeal has earned them props with both country and rock fans alike.
Pure Grain, features singer/guitarist- Chris(The Carolina Kid)Taber, lead guitarist-Ed Bruker, drummer- Brian DeBruler, percussionist Michelle D’Amico, Courtney D’Amico back up vocals, and Arthur Chaney on bass.
With the 2009 release of, “Out of the Storm”, the bands 3rd CD, Pure Grain expanded on its original rock-acoustic-country sound. The band had toured regionally for years and has shared the stage with the likes of Hank Williams Jr, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Michael Montgomery and others, but when their “Truckin Song” video was released on youtube, it was the bands’ introduction to a broader national audience, playing some of the largest country music festivals in 2010 with Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum and more…
Pure Grain is growing daily as truck drivers the world over help spread their music to welcome ears. The band has been featured on podcasts, you tube shows, ustream tv, Sirius/XM satellite radio’s Road Dog Truckin’ Channel with Dave Nemo, and 100′s of radio stations in the US and abroad.
